useless fights

Yesterday I got in a nasty fight.  The useless part is no one won.  He may have gotten more hits in, but I busted out one of his teeth, and he got arrested.  If anything I won. I got in no trouble, and I didn't get hurt badly.  But the sad part was, I did not want to fight.  I am trying to stop fighting, but there is always someone who wants to prove they are better than you.  I didn't start and i was technically attacked.  And very cowardly. Really who comes up and pushes from the back??  Well, someone called the police, and everybody else got in trouble.  I was lucky.  Well as you can see no one wins when you fight.
